Anyone who has attended one of my weekly meditation classes (http://www.meetup.com/Artful-Meditation/) knows that I often say,”Spirit Speaks in Divine Time, Not our Time!”

I’ve been going through all my older writings and papers for awhile, and like most of us writers, had a massive pile and box of stuff to dig through! Out of the treasures, I stumbled upon a strange bit of pages dated 12/21/99 entitled, “Conversation with Henry and Tonya,” I started to read the pages and was blown away!

For a moment in time, I flashed back to when I was nineteen and had my first “high paying job” at the telephone company. My first day there I had met a “nice,” charming woman who was a singer in a band. I was so happy to meet her, because I was a pianist and grew up playing music. She was one of those people who instantly became your best friend!

Over the course of our six-week training at this job we became friends and started to hang out after work and on the weekends. She was older than me in her mid-thirties and was married. A few weeks into our friendship her band broke up, and she invited me to be in her band. Through a series of quick events we had a full band and we somehow ended up practicing out of my parent’s basement and all was great, or so I thought….

The band, break-up, and the massive series of events, I will leave for another blog entry. However, tonight’s encounter with spirit relates to this part of my life, in that, this woman “Tonya” was the first woman to open my eyes to the metaphysical community. Before I had met her I was a self-taught astrologer, numerologer, and was very sensitive and intuitive. I have always had an awareness of spirits and have had the ability to connect to them as long as I can remember. But, “Tonya” introduced me to concepts such as, automatic writing, tarot, and other divination concepts. Both of the light and dark. One night we were hanging out decorating troll dolls! Yes, troll dolls! Somehow I created a Polynesian family with a surfer and princess! And, she created go-go dancers and gothic figures. It was when we were all done playing and laughing, she said she had a message for me. She said she had a gift for automatic writing and there are times when spirit talks so loud that she has to write. She grabbed paper and began to write a series of pages that was written so fast and illegible in areas. The message at the time didn’t make much sense to me, I was like huh? I was nineteen and carefree! I had yet to experience anything!

Now flash forward from 1999 to 2011 and me going through a massive pile of papers as I clear and organize my life after the craziest, hardest, and massively trans-formative two years of my life! Starting a business, a new career, having every part of my old life wither into dust! It has definitely taught me a lot about faith, trust, and my own strength! It was at this time in my life the messages of “Henry” make the most sense. When they were given to me, I just shunned them off and put them in the box with the rest of my thoughts. However, Great Spirit knew that I needed to be reminded of these pages at this very time in my life! Divine timing at its finest!

The irony that “Henry” as she called him gave me messages eleven years ago that I didn’t understand then, to come and speak to me and my life right now!

Some of the phrases that really stood out are:

“You must not try, but do. To try is never to really get it done so to say. The act of doing is the art you seek. But you’ve tried to fit in too many times. Too hard—no too much. Never putting you as king.”

“What can you do to bring peace and inspiration? If you try to fit into a barren world you will succeed. Are you sure that is what you truly desire?

” You are close, closer now than before. Though you know that time was painful and untrue, so you doubt, you doubt me, you doubt you.”

“What do you deny in order to survive in an average world? This then is your destiny. This thing you have more experience to gain before you do it, but you do get to choose now how to come by those experiences, or did you forget?”

“Know that your life is at a crossroads of famine and deceit. Your life until now has been for others without your gifts for you and if you continue you will suffer. What do you choose?”

Some powerful blows that have brought a lot of insights and strength! Thank you divine spirit for speaking to me eleven years ago…to speak to me now! Amazing! And, as I have said and will keep saying, “Spirit Speaks in Divine Time, Not our Time!” So, be patient, be kind, and continue to love yourself as the Kings and Queens you are!
